Aldous Huxley wrote this book, Point Counter Point. At first read it is like an adult book, talking on and on about at least 3 different people and their sex lives. So it is like a Sex and The City story. But then when you read between the lines, you realise one thing about these people. Intellectuals are different in their treatment of sex. There's Lord Edward, a biologist, who takes sex like a lab experiment; Walter, a writer, who takes sex and love like a little boy, and so on and so forth.....
Although this book of literature reads like a dirty story, it isn't. The sex and love scenes are just there to show how society degenerates with these "intellectuals"....
Does anyone have Huxley's Brave New World? I'd like to borrow it, it's supposed to be on par with Orwell's 1984....
Anyway, this brings me to a related topic. I've learnt 1 thing so far. It is better for someone to love you, rather than you love someone. If it sounds odd, then think about it. I dunno why it sounds right to me.
