It was a fine day, slightly windy. Not good news for a fella having to transport fragile Styrofoam to college. So started today’s charity event. If I were to highlight the skills of the Taylor’s organising committee, it would be their abilities of doing too little too late. Also, there was the incredible feat of miscommunication. It was not until past 9 that we could officially open our stall, after various efforts to explain the situation properly to various people.
Oh well, a splashing good time is the usual tagline used during such events. I think it’s quite appropriate still. After everyone got wet. Of course everyone got wet, including many lecturers. So we had fun… in the sun and haze. Balloons and water everywhere. Final coup de grace: drenched Andrew. And also a whole gang of wet people.
The only hope now is that we can get at least 1k. And also best stall award. If possible, so help us God.
